As we navigate the often murky waters of auditioning, we each have discovered some do’s and don’ts in a casting session. Let’s start off the week by helping one another out! Here are my top 3 Tips
- Invest – Get your hair or makeup done before a big audition! Or, take a lesson from a professional so you can easily recreate your best look! This is your time to shine. Do it right.
- Say Thank You – A handwritten note of gratitude to a casting agent goes a long way. Leave a note with the receptionist at the end of your audition to say “thank you” for their time.
- Be Polite – People are always watching. Be friendly and approachable at all industry functions, especially casting calls. Say hello to your fellow actors and actresses and refrain from any gossip.
