Don’t Miss Today’s #1 Audition Tip: Hit Record to Perfect Your Audition

Are you looking to practice your monologue? Do you want to work on your voice? Are you curious what you look like on camera? If you answered yes, than we have the perfect suggestion for you! As you prepare for your auditions, record yourself rehearsing. Capturing  your performance on camera is an excellent way to learn control and perfect your mannerisms. It’s time to take your selfies to the next level. Hit record and see what you discover

When you watch your recording, take note of  your voice. Are you projecting and being expressive? How is your tone? Should you work on your accent? Take notes and make sure to go back and review areas in which you can improve. Also, pay special attention to your movements. Are you fidgeting? Are you standing up straight? Do you look confident? Your posture and hand gestures are some of the first things people notice in the audition room. Make a good first impression and be in control of your body!

We would love to hear your feedback on this exercise! Tell us what you found after recording your rehearsal!
