5 Child Actors: Where Are They Now? #ThrowbackThursday

We all had our favorite child stars growing up, whether it was watching Full House after school or tuning into the Disney Channel to watch the latest episode of Lizzie Mcguire.  After those shows (and, really, our souls) ended,  we found a new show. So, what exactly are some of those stars up to now? Here are five I was wondering about:

1. The Olsen Twins

If you a true 90’s kid, then you know that these ladies consumed much of your TV time. Full House, Passport to Paris, Two of a Kind. Ring a bell? Mary-kate and Ashley, now 28, went off screen to further their careers. After struggling with eating disorders through college, the twins now spend their time in fashion design. Though you may not know it, these two are slowly taking over the world.

2. Hilary Duff

Hilary Duff was THE ‘it’ girl and the face of Disney Channel. Her resume includes Lizzie Mcguire, A Cinderella Story, Cheaper by the Dozen, not to mention her CDs. Metamorphosis anyone? Now at 26, Duff is a mommy to son Luca and is separated from her husband. She spends her days working on a new CD and posting adorable pictures of her son on Instagram.

3. Macaulay Culkin

Remember the Home Alone movies? Yeah, that kid. After the hit movies The Pagemaster, Richie Rich and Uncle Buck, Culkin seemed to have fallen off the earth.  At 18, he was married and divorced soon after. He has also fought drug addiction and legal issues for a number of years. Now 33, Culkin continues to find occasional work as an actor.  He was recently behind multiple voices for Adult Swims’ popular TV show, Robot Chicken.

4. Ben Savage

Ben is most well-known for his role as Cory Matthews in the hit TV sitcom Boy Meets World. At 33 years old, Savage has featured in various shows. His latest project is Girl Meets World; the Boy Meets World spinoff. The TV series recently premiered on Disney.

5. Candace Cameron Bure

Remember cute little D.J. Tanner? She’s all grown up now! 38 years old to be exact. Candace has since added being a producer, an author, and now a mother and wife to her resume. Her latest project was competing as a contestant on Dancing With the Stars.

Do you feel old now?
