3 Coaching Tips to Land Your Big Break

Are you getting tired of waiting for your big break? The grind of auditioning can become draining, especially if you aren’t seeing results. Luckily, I’m here to help you get one step closer to achieving the fame you deserve. Here are three ways to land your dream role!

1. Invest–I can’t stress enough the power of a good headshot. Professional photos will make you look polished and increase your chances of getting an audition. Find a photographer whose style you resonate with and you feel comfortable around. Review the photo packages they offer and make sure that retouching is included. Don’t skimp on hair and makeup either. You want to look your very best the day of the shoot and a superior stylist will be vital in achieving an effortless look.2. Highlight– Resumes are designed to highlight your best work. Think of it as your biography! Make sure your resume contains actionable, specific, and direct information that conveys your best self.

3. Showcase– A demo reel is an impressive way to showcase your talents to a casting director. A reel appeals to different senses as they can hear and see your mannerisms. Compile video, stills, and audio of your best performances and have them professionally edited. Light music, a fun intro, and quick edits will grab people’s attention as well as their admiration for your work.

When preparing for your next audition make sure your materials are on point! Attention to detail never goes unnoticed and could a major factor in booking your next gig!
